Education and Other Information
Sarvek was born aboard the USS Daedalus-A, where her mother, T'Paav was currently serving as the ship's A&A officer. She remained aboard that vessel until the age of two, when T'Paav was killed in the line of duty. At that point, she was sent to live with her father, then practicing medicine on Vulcan.
She attended the La'Tiahv Primary School until the age of 13. She then moved to Earth, where she attended junior high and high school at the Starfleet Institute for Gifted Students, located in San Francisco. She was the valedictorian of her class, graduating a year earlier than expected at the age of 17.
The next three years she spent working alongside her father at Starfleet Medical. Eventually, she reached the conclusion that she was not interested in a medical career, and returned to Vulcan to attend the Vulcan Science Academy.
She studied at the Science Academy until she was 25 years old, graduating cum laude. At this point. she joined the Science Academy's staff as an associate professor and served in that capacity for the next five years, eventually attaining the position of professor. Several years later and somewhat dismayed with her current situation, she made a traditional pilgrimage to Mount Seleya, remaining for five months.
Sarvek decided at this point to make a complete career change, based on the family legend that predecessors in her House were Starfleet officers during the Warp 5 program. Less than two days after the idea first entered her mind, she enrolled in Starfleet Academy, majoring in Communications and Linguistics, minoring in a general sciences degree. She graduated from the Academy four years later at the age of 36.
She served on the U.S.S. Hood during the mid-23rd century, eventually reaching the rank of Lieutenant Commander and serving as Chief Communications Officer.

Hobbies and Interests
To her fellow cadets at the Academy, Sarvek was a bit of an enigma. She didn't appear to have any interests other than studying, and none of her quadmates were ever able to interest her in activities such as sports or musical instruments. However, they weren't aware of the more hidden aspects of the Vulcan's persona, and for the sake of this biography, she has agreed to disclose her interests.
Sarvek has always had an overwhelming interest in marine biology, and although she never pursued the career, she considered a field in cetacean studies.
Sarvek is an ordained priestess of Mount Seleya, studying for months before attaining the honor. She spends much of her off-duty time in the preparation for Kohlinar, and one not completely familiarized with the practice might call it her all-consuming passion.
Among her other few social activities, Sarvek is known throughout Starfleet as the undefeated Starfleet Academy Poker Champion for four straight years. She also plays chess, but only against the computer.
