The Edge of the Unknown
The year is 2362. At the edges of Federation territory, the Starfleet Corps of Engineers’ new marvel, a Halcyon-class starbase, has just been completed. Situated just outside the Peliar Zel system, the station is uniquely situated at the crossroads of the Federation, Tzenkethi Autarchy, and new realms of space rumored to boast as-yet unmet enemies.
Yet in spite of its strategic position, Starbase Capricorn was designed as a base for scientific inquiry, exploration, and discovery. Its commanding officer, Admiral Sarvek, a Vulcan scientist with over a century’s experience in Starfleet, is to lead a taskforce of brilliant officers and non-commissioned officers alike to rediscover the lost secrets of ruined worlds within reach of Capricorn.
Specialists of all disciplines have been assembled on the base, which boasts a number of supply depots, docking bays, and of course, a sizable entertainment center.
